benefits of wood

Wood is a renewable resource. It’s natural, beautiful, durable and responsible.

Wood has always been a popular fence material because of its availability. The continued use of responsible forest practices is helping to ensure a lasting supply.

Wood is a renewable resource. There is no other renewable and economically feasible resource that can replace wood. It’s natural, beautiful, durable and responsible. Other materials are made from non-renewable resources that once taken from the earth cannot be replaced. We are constantly growing more wood products. Where else could you find a product that is renewable, recyclable and biodegradable? Wood also blends in perfectly with the surrounding environment.

TMI’s Western Red Cedar and whitewood come from the “working” forests of the Pacific Northwest. These forests are managed to balance the need for sustainable yield of wood products with the needs of the fish & wildlife that live there. TMI is proud to be a part of the development of products from these forests.
